Across two continents and a span of 10 years, Sara and James? love story has survived distance and trials of numerous sorts?but their happily ever after ending is now only months away. Brought together in 2002 by working for the same charity in London while Sara was studying abroad and James was her internship supervisor, the two quickly realized a connection but never felt they could communicate the emotions because they weren?t sure what the other one was feeling.?Sara and James both went about their lives, through different jobs, relationships and cities and tried to keep in touch when they could via email and Facebook. As luck would have it, James? job at an international family planning organization in London had him coming to Washington, DC often for work visits?where Sara was now living since grad school.? Even though they hadn?t seen one another for almost 4 years, they instantly reconnected and it was full speed ahead with their relationship. Feeling as though they?ve lost 10 years of their relationship and are eager to makeup for the lost time, Sara and James? relationship was strengthened by one another?s dedication to the other and their hope for their future together.?During a romantic getaway at a cabin during New Years, James proposed to Sara during a game of monopoly by placing a small note on a chance card. For the first time in their relationship things happened very quickly: Sara?s first move was to pick up the chance card and to her surprise it read, ?will you marry me???Sara and James? love story has been more than just a card of chance, though?it?s been full of love, hope and fate. The couple are set to marry in August 2012 in Tanglewood, NC near Sara?s family and will move to London together soon after.
